Central Bank of Myanmar Notification
The foreign exchange earnings of the locals must be send back to Myanmar to the foreign currency account opened at the Foreign Exchange Trading (AD) licensed banks and exchange for Myanmar Kyats within one working day. Affective date starting from announcement date, 3 April 2022. Notification (12-2022)

Starting from (4-4-2022), the resident persons who received the money from foreign in foreign currencies (trade revenue, non-trade revenue) entering into each AD licensed bank except the matters of exemption under paragraph (3) of the notification, within 1 working day from the date of entry to the (AD) License Banks in exchange for the kyat account opened by the recipient of that foreign currency.
