Directorate of Labour, Ministry of Labour, letter dated 21 December 2023 regarding the renewal of labor registration cards under which includes companies permitted to act under the Myanmar Investment Commission-MIC and SEZ law (SEZ companies), effective from January 1, 2024.
1. Fee Structure:
- Renewal fee for 6 months: USD 60
- Renewal fee for 1 year: USD 120
2. Late Renewal Penalty:
- A penalty of USD 10 will be imposed if the renewal is one month late.
- It is crucial to note that any delay, even by one day, will be considered as a full month overdue.
3. Currency Conversion:
- Previously, all renewal and late penalty fees were denominated in Myanmar Kyat (MMK).
- Effective from the mentioned date, fees are now converted to United States Dollars (USD).
